DescriptionDaisy's ideal home
Daisy is to be rehomed with Bella, her sister. Both dogs are elderly and have some age related health issues. They are house trained and can be left for a few hours. They could possibly live with a cat but not other dogs.
Could you be Daisy's perfect match?
Daisy is a tiny 15 year old Chihuahua who doesn't see very well any more. She can see shadows and manages to get about in her foster home pretty well. When they came to us, Daisy and Bella were very worried but settling back in to a home life with fosterers has done wonders for them. Daisy now readily leaps onto the sofa for cuddles! We know it's a big ask but these little girls are looking for a quiet retirement home where they can live in peace and comfort. They travel very well in the car and are very well behaved in the house. Daisy particularly gets excited when her carers return and she does love to be stroked behind her eras. She is understandably a little worried by new people and environments as she can't see, but once she's able to give people a sniff, she's very happy to say hello. Daisy loves her grub! Food is the thing that gets her most excited and she'll wag her little tail excitedly at the prospect of something tasty. The girls don't walk much due to their age and are happy with a couple of short potters each day, but Daisy does still enjoy a little play session with her carer.
