Rocky's ideal home

Rocky is a one year old French Bulldog X. He could join a home with children of secondary school age and older that are sensible around dogs and can understand he may want his own space at times. Rocky will need to be the only pet in the home but could benefit from some calm canine companions outside of the home to help build his confidence around other dogs. Once settled in the home, Rocky should be ok to be built up to be left for short periods of time.

Rocky came into our care through no fault of his own, he is a clever boy who already knows "sit" and "paw". Rocky finds being examined by a vet worrying and is being trained to wear a muzzle to help him with this, he is getting on well with this training and has been having "happy vet visits" to help him feel more comfortable in a veterinary setting. Once he knows you, Rocky really enjoys a cuddle and a fuss, he is a real foodie so will soon be your best friend for a few treats! Could you offer Rocky a space in your heart and your home? Please note that you won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.
